Chennai Box-Office (March 31-April 2)

The summer rush has started at the CBO. The season has started on a positive note, with AGS Entertainments KV Anand directed Vijay Sethupathi biggie Kavan off to a flying start. The film has grossed around Rs 1.10 Cr in three days and has taken a flying start from Chennai city and is at number one slot.

In the second place is Nayanthara‘s Dora, which has grossed around Rs 70 lakhs. The film playing in second biggest screens has taken a good opening.

And in the third place is Beauty And The Beast, which has picked up with the schools closing for the summer holidays.

Taapsee’s Naam Shabana is in the fourth place and Maanagaram continues to hold good at number five.
