The CBO this week is interesting. Karthi’s cop story Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru has taken a very good opening. The film has grossed roughly Rs 1.76 Cr in its first three days from Chennai city, due to fantastic reviews and large number of screens and is the clear number one at CBO. Justice League, which opened well due to its franchise recall value and has done around 80 lakhs only from the English version. The Tamil version could not release due to censor delay.

In the third place is Nayanthara’s Aramm, which has done around Rs 2.35 Cr from Chennai city in 10 days. Now it can be classified as a hit.

And at number four is Siddharth’s Aval which continues to hold good in its third week. In the fifth place is Vijay’s Mersal, which is a blockbuster and has crossed Rs 14 Cr gross. The only other film ahead is Baahubali 2.
